2011 Session Theme: One Way!
We are excited to have you checking into the 2011 session of Black Hills Bible Camp. We have been praying, planning and developing material for this session all year and the time has finally arrived for you to do your part. It is time to Commit! Fill out your application, contact your friends, and keep praying for what God will do in and through this year's camp session to exalt Jesus.
The camp session theme is centered around Jesus being the one way to God. Jesus isn't shy about proclaiming to the world that he is the "Way, the Truth and the Life". He also claims to be the exclusive path to the Father. We will be looking at the Scriptures and how they illustrate this great claim for our lives today.
If you want to get a jump start on the session, you can begin to memorize the memory verse from John 14:6 - Jesus said to him, "I am the
way, and the truth,
and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (Jn 14:6)
You can expect camp to illustrate the following things beginning in this verse:
That Jesus is the way —
He’s the path to a lifetime of adventure, fulfillment,
challenge, and purpose. (Jn 10:10)
•
That He is the truth
—
and He will provide you with wisdom that works for everyday life
and for the
turbulent times as well.(Jn 14)
• And
He is the life.
He — and He alone — can give you confidence for your future, for
all of eternity
Plan now to be a part of the summer adventure in the beautiful Black Hills. Come to appreciate all the peace and joy that God can bring us as we live and learn together in this great week of Christian camping experience.
Our goal for you is that when you leave, you will never see life the same way again.
